Brine/ Pot-Perm Connection: This 3/8 Brass Nut connection is used to hook up the Potassium Permanganate Tank when the control Valve is used in a Greensand Permanganate Water Filtration System or The Brine Tank when the Autotrol control Valve is used in a Water Softener System. The 3/8 Plastic hose that goes to the Brine Tank is shown in the picture.

Drain Line: This drain hose barb is generally located on the lower, backside of the valve. This Drain line is used to hook up the 1/2 inch plastic drain hose connection from the system to the drain your are going to be using.

Line In: Main Water line coming into the system. An arrow indicates the direction of flow.

Line Out: Filtered Water coming out of the system. An arrow indicated water flow.
